Job description

Duties will include:
• To take and process telephone, postal and counter sales for visitors to the official residences of The Queen.
• To confidently sell tickets and souvenir guidebooks for all residences in both the contact centre and sales counters.
• To achieve targets for gift aid conversions, souvenir guidebook sales and cross-sales.
• To ensure that the booking information held on the computerised database is accurate and up-to-date.
• To undertake the accurate and timely despatching of customer tickets.
• To undertake any other tasks delegated, as and when required, by the Summer Team Leaders and the Ticketing and Sales Management team.

Interest in English Heritage

Free 3 course lunch Monday –Friday
Weekends – basic lunch – sandwiches etc.

Social Events

Hours: A minimum of 300 hours for the duration of the contract. You will typically be rostered to work over 4 to 5 days per week, Monday to Sunday, including regular weekends and some evenings.
Shifts will vary between Monday – Sunday 8.30am – 8pm

£10.55 p/h
Contracts from May/June – September/October
Candidates MUST be available for the full period of the contract and with full availability (no holidays can be taken) although they will be given holiday pay
Students will be given a late contract of around early July and can finish in September
